1938 German Mauser 8mm M.30 Scharfe S-Patronen Ammunition, Five Boxes

This lot comprises five tan cardboard boxes of 1938 German Mauser 8mm M.30 Scharfe S-Patronen ammunition, accompanied by ten loose metallic cartridges secured in two stripper clips. Each cardboard box is prominently marked in German with “10 Stück” (10 Pieces), “8 mm M. 30 scharfe S-Patronen” (8 mm Model 30 Live S-Cartridges), “Rottw.” (likely Rottweil), and “XII. 1938” (December 1938). Additional markings include a “P. 655” designation, a large “S” graphic, and a German eagle with swastika (WaA) inspection stamp, indicative of a pre-WWII German military context. The ten metallic cartridges are brass-cased with copper or brass projectiles. They are secured within two black stripper clips, which appear to be metallic or composite in construction. The bases of the cartridges display visible “P” and “S*” markings.  50 rounds total
